Training & Development Designer - AI Enablement
Location: Hybrid (4 days/week onsite)
Position Overview
The Training & Development Designer will lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale learning experiences that build AI fluency, accelerate adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, and help employees responsibly integrate approved AI tools into their daily work.
This role requires a strategic learning and organizational change leader who can translate complex technologies into practical, role-based learning experiences; anticipate adoption barriers; drive behavior change; and support a global workforce of 150,000+ employees through sustained transition and enablement efforts.
The ideal candidate will facilitate engaging learning experiences for employees, leaders, champions, and specialized user groups while ensuring training initiatives align with broader change management, communications, readiness, and adoption strategies.

Required Skills
Required Experience
Significant experience designing and delivering learning and change enablement strategies within large, complex, global organizations; experience supporting audiences of 150,000+ employees is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft 365 Copilot across applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, enterprise chat experiences, and basic agent-building capabilities.
Broad understanding of AI technologies, responsible AI practices, prompt engineering, AI-enabled workflow transformation, and emerging enterprise AI trends.
Strong instructional design experience, including:
Needs analysis
Audience segmentation
Curriculum architecture
Learning objectives and assessments
Reinforcement strategy development
Blended learning design
Proven ability to facilitate engaging and outcome-driven learning sessions for diverse global audiences.
Experience applying organizational change management principles, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, readiness planning, resistance management, reinforcement, and adoption measurement.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, practical, and actionable guidance.
Experience developing scalable learning assets for facilitators, champions, managers, and employees.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where technology, governance, and user needs evolve rapidly.
Preferred Experience
2+ years supporting enterprise AI, digital workplace, productivity, or Microsoft 365 adoption programs.
5+ years developing persona-based learning and change strategies tied to business use cases and measurable adoption outcomes.
Familiarity with Copilot Studio, AI agent concepts, or low-code/no-code automation platforms.
Experience building:
Train-the-trainer programs
Champion networks
Communities of practice
Peer-learning models
Experience leveraging learning analytics, surveys, usage data, readiness indicators, sentiment analysis, and qualitative feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Background in Organizational Change Management, Employee Experience, Technology Enablement, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
Education
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
