    What You'll Do:

    • Maintain accurate vehicle title files and safeguard titles, lien documents, sales records, warranties, service contracts, and other confidential records.
    • Review paid-loan reports, confirm loans have been paid in full, and release vehicle titles to members or financial institutions as appropriate.
    • Process lien releases and verify that required lien documentation is received, complete, and properly maintained.
    • Help ensure vehicle title processes comply with applicable state, local, and federal requirements.
    • Monitor Department of Motor Vehicles information and regulatory updates that may affect vehicle title processing procedures.
    • Scan, organize, and maintain title and lien documentation within electronic document management systems.
    • Mail released titles for paid-off vehicles to members and other financial institutions as required.
    • Process returned mail daily, verify addresses, contact members regarding incorrect addresses, and complete appropriate address-change documentation.
    • Provide receptionist coverage as needed, welcome members, answer routine questions, and direct them to the appropriate department.
    • Protect confidential financial and personal information while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
    • Deliver courteous, responsive service to both internal teams and external members.
    • Identify opportunities to introduce members to additional financial products and services when appropriate.
    • Follow applicable financial-services compliance requirements, including BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, and member due diligence procedures.
    • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.


    What We’re Looking For:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year of vehicle title processing experience within the automotive industry, a financial institution, or a related environment.
    • Previous collections experience is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to keep vehicle titles, lien releases, and related documentation accurate and current.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with members, coworkers, and outside organizations.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
    • A customer-focused approach and commitment to providing professional, respectful service.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, diplomacy, and the ability to work appropriately with confidential or sensitive information.
    • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with members, financial institutions, government agencies, and other external contacts.
    • Comfortable using business technology and office equipment, including computers, telephones, and 10-key.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and email.
    • Willingness to stay current on vehicle title regulations, DMV requirements, internal procedures, and applicable financial-services compliance standards.
