Technology Trainer
Pay Range: 30 - 40/hr, W 2

Summary:

• Duration: 3+ Month Contract
• Work Mode: Remote
• Manager is based in Colorado. Will need to be flexible to work timezone hours as required. 
• Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Teach technology courses virtually and in-person using the company curriculum and approach
• Create a comfortable and supportive learning environment
• Provide updates to hotlines on center activities
• Make outbound calls to members
• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Represent and promote company culture and opportunities to course participants
• Engage in regular communication with staff, including feedback on site issues, curriculum, etc.
• Coordinate with site staff, including site visits and graduations
• Submit paperwork in a timely manner
• Collect surveys and evaluations
• Enter data into Salesforce database
• Participate in trainer meetings and other training events
• Recruit participants, as needed
• Participate in special projects, such as outreach and curriculum development
• Supervise volunteers who assist classes, as needed
• Provide front desk support, greet people, and answer phones
• Assist people with signing up for classes

Requirements:

• Excellent speaking and communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English
• Proficiency with Windows computers, iOS, popular social media sites, and other common technologies/devices
• Comfortable traveling to various senior/community centers as needed, when/if safe to do so
• Ability to work independently and as part of a training team
• Superior time-management skills
• Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional work setting

Preferred Skills:

• Spanish language proficiency (written and verbal) is a plus
• Experience teaching teenagers, adults, and/or seniors is preferable
