Duration: 12-24 month contract

Pay: $60-$80/hr

Job Summary

Disney Experiences Technology (DXT) delivers world-class digital experiences that power Disneys Parks & Resorts, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, and other innovative guest-facing technologies. As part of the Portfolio & Strategic Enablement (P&SE) organization, the Senior Business & Information Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This individual will partner with business and technology stakeholders to analyze data, improve operational processes, support planning activities, and develop scalable data solutions that power reporting, analytics, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and is passionate about leveraging data, automation, and AI technologies to drive business value. The Senior Business & Information Analyst will contribute to key planning processes, including annual operating plans, capital planning, long-term planning, and resource management while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Activities

Data Analysis & Insights

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain curated datasets and reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate business performance and recommendations.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across reporting and analytics platforms.

AI Enablement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve analytics, planning processes, and operational efficiency.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and technologies to accelerate analysis, insight generation, process automation, and development activities.
• Partner with stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into existing business processes and workflows.
• Monitor emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices, translating new capabilities into practical business applications.

Data Management & Governance

• Support the design, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise data models and curated datasets.
• Assist in implementing data governance standards, data quality controls, and data management processes.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues while ensuring reporting consistency across the organization.
• Contribute to scalable data solutions using tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, and related technologies.

Process Improvement & Strategic Planning

• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and increased efficiency.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Develop business cases and supporting analyses for strategic initiatives and process enhancements.
• Support annual operating planning, capital planning, long-term planning, forecasting, and resource management initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, program managers, and external partners to drive data-informed decisions.
• Present findings, recommendations, and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support executive storytelling through presentations, dashboards, and analytical summaries.
• Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to stakeholders across the organization.

Program Support & Continuous Improvement

• Support program planning, execution tracking, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Maintain documentation related to business processes, metrics, reporting methodologies, and analytical findings.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations that promote innovation, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving business needs in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Program Analyst, or similar analytical role.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and delivering actionable business insights.
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to automate workflows, accelerate analysis, and improve business processes.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience developing or supporting data pipelines, ETL processes, and automated workflows.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub, and similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and related productivity tools.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Experience driving process improvement initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
