This leader will oversee a team responsible for CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and integration with observability and security platforms. The role ensures standardized, secure, and reliable delivery processes while improving developer productivity and user experience.

The Technology Manager will partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to align platform capabilities with enterprise standards, drive tool rationalization, and support the organization’s transition to a scalable DevSecOps and observability-enabled operating model.

Job Description

  • Define and execute the roadmap for DevOps platform capabilities aligned to enterprise architecture and business priorities
  • Drive standardization of pipelines, workflows, and tooling across engineering teams
  • Evaluate, select, and rationalize tools to reduce redundancy and optimize cost

CI/CD & Pipeline Engineering

  • Develop reusable templates and patterns across multiple technology stacks
  • Ensure integration of pipelines with:
    • Security and quality gates
    • Artifact management platforms
    • Deployment strategies (e.g., blue/green, canary)
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of delivery pipelines

Observability & DevSecOps Integration

  • Ensure DevOps platforms are integrated with enterprise observability tooling, including logging, metrics, and tracing capabilities
  • Enable end-to-end traceability from code deployment through runtime operations
  • Partner with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Security, and Architecture teams to implement telemetry and monitoring standards
  • Support SLO-driven service monitoring and incident response processes

Platform Operations & Reliability

  • Define and manage SLAs for DevOps platform services
  • Ensure platform availability, performance, and resiliency
  • Lead incident response and continuous improvement efforts for platform reliability
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for DevOps tools and services

Developer Experience & Enablement

  • Deliver a self-service DevOps platform that improves developer productivity
  • Reduce friction in build, test, and deployment workflows
  • Establish developer experience metrics (e.g., onboarding time, pipeline adoption).

Governance, Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, SDLC, security, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Architecture Review Board (ARB) to enforce DevOps and observability standards
  • Support compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements

What we’re looking for:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • In addition to any experience required above, 8 or more years of technology experience; 4-6 years of direct supervision experience preferred.

Other Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Experience managing enterprise developer tooling environments
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, platform engineering, and software delivery practices
  • Experience leading SRE or reliability teams.
  • Experience with AIOps and automation frameworks.
  • Background in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering
