    Job Summary

    Instruct and train customers and employees on current and legacy products at both Houston and remote locations. Schedule and conduct Webinars and Virtual Learning Events to support sales and distribution. Maintain training equipment and manuals. Design and develop courseware, including lesson plans, schedules, manuals, instructional materials, and testing.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the maintenance of the classrooms and equipment
    • May have both internal/external customer interface
    • Requires a general understanding of cost structure, content, and cost awareness and containment
    • Must have a general understanding of curriculum development
    • Expected to make suggestions regarding process improvements
    • Trainer needs to have basic to intermediate teaching skills
    • Be able to present, demonstrate and learn product knowledge

    Education/Certification:

    • 2 year technical degree required or equivalent military training
    • Prefer Bachelor's degree

    Skills & Experience:

    • 2-4 years

    Tools/Equipment:

    • MS Office, ERP, CRM, hand tools, and electronic test equipment

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand for long periods of time occasionally may be required to walk, climb, stoop, squat, bend, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs or less

    Work Environment:

    • Generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate
    • To access work area one must occasionally walk through a warehouse setting
    • Spends approx. 75% of time in a temperature controlled environment
    • Spends approx. 25% of time in customer sites and manufacturing environments
    • May be exposed to possible hazards including high voltage, noise, heavy machinery, and inclement weather

     

    Travel:

    • 25% to 50%
