IDR is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role supports end-users across a large organization by providing first- and second-tier technical assistance for hardware and software issues on desktop computers. It is an excellent opportunity within a well-established organization in the healthcare sector.
Position Overview for the Technical Support Specialist
- Provide first-level and second-tier technical support for end-users regarding hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system problems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve more complex technical incidents.
- Manage endpoint installations, configurations, and updates.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of hardware and peripherals while supporting special projects.
Requirements for the Technical Support Specialist:
- 3+ years of help desk support/engineering experience
- Experience troubleshooting hardware/software and operating systems issues in Windows environment
- Microsoft Azure AD environment experience
- Experience supporting O365 applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to support users in a fast-paced help desk environment
