The Technical Repair Manager is responsible for overseeing daily repair operations, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring that all products meet quality and performance standards. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and process improvement to drive efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement within the repair function. The role also serves as a key liaison with the executive team, providing updates on performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead repair technicians on a daily basis
Assign workloads and manage team schedules to meet production demands
Train, mentor, and evaluate technician performance
Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting guidance
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
Develop, implement, and improve repair and testing procedures
Identify recurring issues and implement long-term corrective actions
Improve efficiency to meet production goals
Ensure repaired and tested products meet quality standards
Handle escalated complaints and complex technical issues
Oversee Cold Storage area management
Ensure QA Bay system PMs are completed on time
Maintain documentation for audits and compliance
Manage CT/MR R&D pipeline list and collaborate on projects
Maintain production output aligned with FG inventory requirements
Interface with executive leadership to report on operational performance, risks, and improvement initiatives
