Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Technical Product Manager– DevOps & Developer Experience (DevEx) for their Minneapolis, MN/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • This onshore role combines Technical Product Management with DevOps Engineering Management to own the internal DevEx/SDLC toolchain and platform capabilities end to end.
  • The leader is accountable for product strategy and roadmap execution and for managing DevOps engineering resources (team leadership, capacity/allocation, delivery commitments, and operational excellence).
  • The role partners closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security/Compliance, and Operations to improve software delivery speed, safety, reliability, and developer experience.
  • Support the SDLC Product & Program Manager in shaping the DevEx/SDLC roadmap: Contribute to strategy, discovery, and sequencing for DevOps and SDLC maturity capabilities.
  • DevOps engineering resource management: Own capacity planning and allocation across DevOps engineering resources; coordinate staffing for sprint/iteration commitments, intake, and production priorities; identify gaps/constraints and drive mitigation plans.
  • Demand intake and prioritization: Run a clear intake process for platform requests, automation asks, and operational work; triage, size, and prioritize demand with stakeholders to balance roadmap delivery, reliability, and technical debt.
