Overview: VTG is seeking a Technical Operations Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical initiatives supporting National Security customers. Responsibilities: Lead planning and execution of technical projects across cross-functional teams.

VTG is seeking a Technical Operations Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical initiatives supporting National Security customers. This role is based in the National Capital Region and is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and execution of technical projects across cross-functional teams
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with stakeholders
• Manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation
• Track progress using appropriate tools, metrics, and reporting frameworks
• Coordinate internal staff and external partners to support successful delivery
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost using structured change-control practices
• Prepare and present status updates to leadership and customer stakeholders
• Maintain strong relationships across government and contractor teams
• Develop and maintain project documentation, plans, and briefings

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Minimum of 12 years of experience 
• Bachelor's Degree (experience may count in leui of degree)
• Must be able to travel up to 35% CONUS travel
• Experience managing technical or mission-focused projects in government or national security environments
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary technical teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills
• Experience managing schedules, risks, and deliverables across concurrent efforts
