Job Summary (in List Format):
- Role: Technical Integration Specialist
- Client: Major enterprise client in Washington, DC
- Primary Focus:
- Design and deliver bi-directional API integrations between Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), SAP (Finance & HR), and ArcGIS
- Operate within an AWS middleware environment
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain real-time API connections using AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Author comprehensive technical documentation, including Functional and Technical Design Documents, data flow diagrams, and API specs
- Develop and execute integration testing strategies, write test scenarios, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Engineer integration solutions that support current SAP ECC/SuccessFactors workflows and future migration to SAP S/4HANA
- Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software integration, API architecture, and cloud middleware engineering
- Proven experience with SAP integrations (FI/CO, SuccessFactors, ECC, or S/4HANA)
- Hands-on experience with AWS integration services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge)
- Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and webhooks
- Demonstrated ability to write technical design documentation and map enterprise data flows
- Preferred: Experience with IWMS platforms (Planon, TRIRIGA, Archibus, ServiceNow Facilities) or GIS platforms (ArcGIS)
