    Technical Infrastructure & Network Engineer – CAD/MDS
    Location: Chicago, IL (onsite)
    Duration: 6+ Months
    Contract Position | Rotational 24x7 Support
    Only local candidates
    Only w2 or 1099 candidates.
    U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders are preferred.

     

    Required Skills & Experience:

    Government/public-sector experience is required, preferably State/Local Government.

    Experience with 9-1-1, 3-1-1, PSAP, emergency dispatch, law enforcement, police/fire/EMS, or government contact centers strongly preferred.

    Strong Cisco networking experience, especially Cisco Nexus/NX-OS, routing, VLANs, subnetting, and network redundancy.

    Hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge, Dell VxRail, SAN/storage, RAID & LUNs.

    Strong VMware vSphere/vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion experience.

    Advanced Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and SSL knowledge.

    Experience with Cradlepoint routers, cellular/LTE connectivity, and NetMotion VPN.

    Experience supporting 24x7/365 mission-critical or high-availability environments.

    Strong experience with disaster recovery, failover, hardware upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance.

    Ideal candidates: Engineers who have supported infrastructure within public safety, emergency communications, 911/311 centers, police/fire/EMS, law enforcement, or municipal/state government environments.
