Description
Join our team in Chicago, IL as a Sr Software Engineer specializing in low latency systems on a contract basis. 
This role involves developing secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions to meet global risk management needs. 
Expertise in optimizing system performance and working with advanced technologies is required.

Key Responsibilities
Engineer secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions with minimal guidance.
Focus on architecture and solution efficiencies, balancing performance and reliability.
Identify opportunities for code optimization and participate in code reviews.
Write optimized application modules and unit tests with minimal guidance.
Utilize knowledge of modern multi-processor architecture for high throughput and low latency.

Qualifications
Proficiency in multi-threading and concurrent data structures.
Experience with networking protocols and understanding of queue theory.
Familiarity with redundancy and fault tolerance techniques.
Knowledge of system performance enhancements such as thread pinning and isolating cores.
Advanced understanding of operating system internals and performance tuning.
