Key Responsibilities
•    Technical Leadership & Operational Excellence: Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure complete operational coverage, minimal ride downtime, and peak attraction performance. 
•    Facilities & Systems Management: Oversee the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repair of all physical plant assets, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and specialized attraction machinery. 
•    Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Manage and execute statutory equipment inspections, ensure compliance with localized safety codes, and maintain rigorous documentation for all repairs, inspections, and vendor sign-offs. 
•    Budgetary & Resource Management: Prepare, monitor, and optimize annual operating budgets and action plans, prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with site leadership, external contractors, and local authorities to manage exhibit setups/takedowns, facility upgrades, and capital projects. 


What We’re Looking For


•    Experience: Minimum 3+ years of technical or facilities management experience in a themed attraction, entertainment venue, resort, or high-volume automated facility. 
•    Technical Mastery: Strong working knowledge across animation, industrial automation, low/high-voltage electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic networking. 
•    Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree/Technical Certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. 
•    Leadership Style: An approachable, energized leader who leads by example, communicates clearly, and thrives under pressure. 
•    Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain relevant state, local, or industry trade licenses as required. 
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
•    Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support operating hours. 
•    Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, and maneuver through all areas of the attraction; comfortable working at heights (20+ feet) and lifting up to 70 lbs when necessary. 
•    Environment: Comfortable working in active indoor/outdoor environments with varying noise levels, temperatures, and light levels.
