In January 2027, HG will merge with Lathrop GPM, bringing together the strengths of both firms and further expanding Lathrop’s Intellectual Property Practice. Candidates selected for this position will join Lathrop GPM in 2027 as Technical Advisors within the combined Intellectual Property team.
Anticipated Start Date: Summer 2027
We are seeking talented engineers to join our New York or San Jose office as Technical Advisors. In this apprenticeship-style role, Technical Advisors work closely with experienced patent attorneys, applying their technical backgrounds and problem-solving skills to understand cutting-edge innovations and help clients protect their intellectual property worldwide.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers interested in exploring a career in intellectual property law. No previous legal training or experience is required.
Applicants should have the ability to primarily work in-person at one of our offices.
