WMT&R is currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented Technical Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Latrobe/Youngstown, PA area. This position plays an important role in supporting our engineers, laboratory teams, and customers throughout the testing process. The Technical Administrative Assistant helps ensure that customer samples, documentation, and job packets are accurately organized, tracked, and directed to the appropriate areas throughout our facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our engineers and technical staff while gaining exposure to the materials testing industry. You will assist with the creation of customer certifications, maintain documentation to ensure the traceability of each order, update workflow information, and help make sure samples get where they need to go throughout the testing process. Depending on department needs, you may also assist with hands-on sample preparation and other operational tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with computers, communicating with different teams, and being part of a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to details matter. Schedule: Monday-Friday, Occasional Weekends as needed

    Qualifications and Skills:

    U.S. Citizenship is strictly required for national defense and aerospace compliance. High school diploma or equivalent required Computer proficiency is required, including the ability to confidently navigate computer-based systems and perform routine data entry and document management Some experience using Microsoft Office products is required, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and other organizational or planning tools preferred Previous experience in office administration, clerical support, data entry, or a related field is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflow needs Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn technical processes and terminology related to materials testing Ability to stand, sit, or move throughout the facility for prolonged periods of time Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
