We're a fast-growing team that values compliance, great customer service, and people who take ownership.The RoleWe're looking for a part-time Team Leader / Shift Supervisor to help lead our Rocky Hill retail team. You'll run shifts, support store management, open and close the store, and make sure every customer interaction and every transaction meets both our standards and Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) regulations.What You'll DoLead shifts on the sales floor, directing and supporting budtenders to deliver a knowledgeable, welcoming customer experienceServe as key holder: open and close the store, following all security, cash handling, and compliance proceduresEnsure full compliance with DCP regulations, including ID verification, purchase limits, product handling, and seed-to-sale tracking in BioTrackOversee cash drawers, deposits, and end-of-day reconciliationSupport inventory receiving, counts, and discrepancy resolutionCoach team members on product knowledge, sales goals, and store proceduresAddress customer concerns and resolve issues professionallyMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant sales floor and back-of-houseCommunicate shift performance, staffing needs, and any incidents to store managementWhat We're Looking ForPrior management or supervisory experience (retail, hospitality, food service, or similar)Availability to work weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule, including opening and closing shiftsCommitment to following all DCP regulations and company policies without exceptionStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to keep a team focused during busy periodsComfort with POS systems, cash handling, and basic reportingDependability, integrity, and attention to detailRequirementsMust be 21 years of age or olderMust be able to obtain and maintain a Connecticut DCP cannabis employee registration, including passing a background checkMust be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to [50] lbsPreferredCannabis industry or dispensary experienceFamiliarity with BioTrack or other seed-to-sale systemsKnowledge of cannabis products, cannabinoids, and consumption methodsPosition DetailsPart-time, approximately 32 hours per weekEmployee discount / other perksHow to ApplySubmit your resume today!
