Job Summary
The Sr Project Manager – Multidiscipline will work within the Released Product Management (RPM) division, leading cost-savings projects for the Core Surgical Innovations (CSI) Business Unit.
The role coordinates multiple initiatives, manages project dependencies, and partners with Project Management, Released Product Engineering, R&D, Quality, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to successfully deliver projects that support patients and customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects.
· Serve as a liaison between Project Management, project teams, planning, and line management.
· Review project status and budgets and prepare project status reports.
· Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
· Develop mechanisms to monitor project progress, identify risks, and support intervention/problem-solving.
· Coordinate with project managers, line managers, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
· Develop, communicate, and implement business plans to achieve organizational and commercial objectives.
· Initiate programs and projects based on identified business and tactical needs.
· Manage project decisions that impact deadlines, resources, budgets, and organizational objectives.
· Develop new objectives, operating policies, processes, products, and standards supporting business strategy.
· Analyze complex and undefined problems through detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation.
· Communicate with internal/external customers and vendors regarding projects, operations, programs, and processes.
· Influence and collaborate across multiple functions and business areas while balancing different objectives.
Required Qualifications
· University Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience
OR
· Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience.
· Broad management knowledge with the ability to lead projects across a department.
· Strong expertise in a specific technical or professional discipline with broad knowledge of related functional areas.
· Strong project management, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to work independently with significant latitude in interpreting objectives.
· Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
· Ability to manage complex projects involving budgets, resources, timelines, and competing priorities.
