This position requires Structured Literacy Awareness Level within one year of hire due to the Rhode Island Right to Read Act. The district serves approximately 22,000 students across 37 schools, with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Teachers are expected to set high academic standards, provide differentiated instruction, and work towards closing achievement gaps.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and RIDE Certification for Grades 7-12 Chemistry; ESL certification is preferred.
