Position Overview
We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to join a growing public accounting practice. This position is ideal for an experienced tax professional with a strong background in individual taxation (1040s) who can lead, mentor, and support staff in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex individual (1040), partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants and seniors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service delivery.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide value-added advisory support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
- Strong proficiency with 1040 tax returns.
- CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
