Why This Role? Step into a senior in-house tax role with a senior living organization dedicated to caring for older adults. You'll own the tax function, act as the go-to tax expert for leadership, and help shape strategy as the organization grows.

What You'll Do

• Own federal, state, and local tax compliance across the organization's entities.
• Prepare or review entity returns (such as 1065, 1120, and 1120-S) and manage outside advisors where used.
• Manage multi-state filings, property tax, and sales and use tax obligations.
• Lead tax provisions, estimates, and planning to minimize liability.
• Advise leadership on the tax impact of acquisitions, new communities, and entity structure.
• Maintain tax calendars, documentation, and audit readiness, and respond to notices.
• Work closely with accounting and finance on month-end, year-end, and reporting.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of tax experience, including public accounting and/or in-house corporate tax.
• Experience with partnership and corporate returns and multi-state filings.
• Experience managing outside tax advisors or leading a small team.
• CPA or EA required.
• A plus: experience in senior living, healthcare, real estate, or other multi-site industries.
