Job Details
Manage a portfolio of tax clients, including individuals, pass-through entities, and closely held businesses
Review federal, state, and local tax returns prepared by staff and seniors for accuracy and compliance
Research complex tax issues and deliver proactive planning and advisory recommendations to clients
Supervise, train, and mentor staff and senior accountants, providing timely and constructive feedback
Manage engagement budgets, workflow, deadlines, and billing to ensure profitable, high-quality delivery
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong long-term relationships
Partner with firm leadership to identify cross-service opportunities and support business development
Stay current on tax law changes and communicate impact to clients and internal teams
Assist with IRS and state notices, examinations, and related correspondence
