- 1-3+ years of experience in an Accounting Firm
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and background in Lacerte

The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation and review of business tax returns including forms 1120, 1120-S and 1065 (990 experience a plus).
- Preparation and review of individual/trust tax returns.
- Assist tax manager as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that may impact clients or the organization.
- Assist clients with financial sales strategies and investment planning.
- Work directly with clients to gather information and prepare draft tax returns.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- CPA or EA certification required; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in tax accounting with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.
- Proficient in financial software applications and tools related to bookkeeping and accounting. In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks is a must.
- Experience with working in Lacerte is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to convey financial concepts clearly to clients.
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Salary Range: $70-95k/year
