About the Opportunity - Task Force Accountant
We are seeking a Task Force Accounts Payable Accountant to support the accounting team of a luxury hotel in downtown Nashville. This role will focus primarily on accounts payable functions while assisting with general accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities - Task Force Accounts Payable Accountant

Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment of accounts payable
Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and expense reporting
Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and account reconciliations
Maintain organized financial records and accounts payable files
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries
Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed

Qualifications - Task Force Accounts Payable Accountant

2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
Hospitality, hotel, or service industry experience preferred
Basic understanding of accounting principles and invoice processing
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience supporting month-end close activities is a plus
Available to work onsite and provide interim accounting support as needed
