The Opportunity
Our client, an established manufacturing company is hiring a Senior Accountant ready to take the next step toward leadership. This Senior Accountant will own core accounting work, guide a small team, and have a real voice in how the department runs as the company grows.

What You'll Do
As Senior Accountant, you will:

• 
  
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Own key pieces of month-end close and financial reporting
• 
  
• Train, support, and review the work of a small accounting team
• 
  
• Oversee vendor payments and AP activity
• 
  
• Support payroll and related accounting functions
• 
  
• Find and fix inefficiencies in processes and internal controls
• 
  
• Partner with leadership on reporting and analysis
• 
  

What You Bring
The ideal Senior Accountant brings:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 
  
• 4+ years of general ledger accounting experience (JEs, recs, close, reporting)
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills
• 
  
• A preference for ownership and hands-on work
•
