Richmond Behavioral Health is seeking professional and energetic Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR Team! The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a crucial role in building a robust talent supply chain by sourcing and recruiting top talent, managing advertising strategies, ensuring employment eligibility, and maintaining strong internal customer relations. This position performs moderate administrative work that involves identifying and attracting qualified candidates through various sourcing channels and recruitment strategies, as well as developing and implementing advertising campaigns to promote job openings and enhance the company’s employer brand. Additionally, the specialist verifies candidate eligibility and ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations. They also respond to internal inquiries and provide support to hiring managers and other stakeholders, while implementing strategies to retain top talent and reduce turnover. The role requires intermediate administrative skills and is performed under the limited supervision of the Talent Acquisition & HR Compliance Manager.

Essential Functions

 

  • Execute comprehensive recruiting processes to build a robust talent pool and promote the Authority’s mission and strategy.
  • Identify and attract applicants through relevant online channels and professional networks.
  • Evaluate applicants for each position and collaborate with division leadership to select strong candidates for open positions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal leadership teams to understand their departments’ hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Extend employment offers, conduct negotiations, and schedule pre-hire appointments to determine employment eligibility.
  • Participate in and assist with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes as necessary and required.
  • Assist with employment eligibility screenings, assemble personnel files, inform new hires of orientation schedules, office assignments, and parking details, provide necessary documentation, and send related survey links to gather trackable data.
  • Participate in new hire orientation programs and supervisory training as needed.
  • Maintain and update HR records and employee files in compliance with laws and policies.
  • Assist staff with HR-related issues as appropriate for problem resolution.
  • Conduct and complete complex data analysis and reporting as required or assigned to identify trends, forecast needs, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Promote diversity within the Authority through seminars, training, and various diversity initiatives.
  • Assist with the revision and development of internal and external brand and marketing materials.
  • Attend job fairs and build relationships with universities to ensure a diverse and qualified applicant pool.
  • Assist with employee recognition programs, including the annual recognition breakfast, benefits fair, and other events, ensuring smooth and organized execution.
  • Perform special projects or assignments as necessary or requested by HR leadership to maintain compliance and build the Authority’s talent pools.
  • Serve as a backup instructor as required or necessary to meet the compliance needs of orientation.
