JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Onsite) JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Exempt REPORTS TO: HR Manager DEPARTMENT: Human Resources LOCATION: 19772 Pauling, Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 SALARY: is commensurate with relevant experience PAY RANGE: $72,384 - $75,000 / per year Chroma Systems Solutions, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of power testing instruments and systems including programmable AC Power Source and DC Power Supplies, AC loads and DC Electronic Loads, Digital Power Meters and Automated Testing Systems for applications in LED Lighting, Led Drivers, Aerospace, Defense, Military, Automotive, Medical, Battery, Solar, Marine, and Regulatory Testing. This position reports under the company Human Resources department and is responsible for recruiting individuals to fill open candidate positions. The successful candidate will have experience in both technical and non-technical recruiting, from administrative assistants to manager or director level candidates. Having experience with engineering positions is also a plus. This position requires diligence, focus, and some tenacity. Frequent interruptions are common, and good task management and follow-up skills are a must to be successful in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Employment advertisements, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordination of interviews with hiring departments, reference and background checking, and preparation of offer letter.
- Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and general networking.
- Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals will fall under your scope of responsibility.
- Review employment applications and job requisitions to match applicants with job requirements.
- Provide outstanding customer service and consistent communication to prospective job applicants and hiring departments. Regular check-ins will be a priority.
- Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills. Select qualified job applicants or refer them to hiring managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate including modifications to the job posting to increase engagement.
- Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
- Schedule or administer assessments as needed for prospective employees including quizzes for certain roles.
- Assist with hiring process to include the handling of new hire paperwork (>10%)
- Maintain current knowledge of employment related law pertaining to pre-employment.
- Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
- Prepare and maintain job board postings as needed.
- Partner with 3rd party staffing agencies to help source for hard-to-fill roles.
- Maintain HR information as needed per department guidelines.
- Assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers. (>10%)
- Candidate must have working knowledge of recruiting and recruiting tools
- Good communication, follow up methods, and attention to detail are required soft skills
- Ability to work with MS office tools (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Ability to be mentored and learn company processes, procedures, and tools
QUALIFICATIONS: - 2-4 years of recruitment experience
- Working knowledge of industry recruiting tools (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to hold conversations and posses interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations related to candidates, job postings, etc.
- Critically detailed oriented
- Knowledge of state and federal pre-employment laws and applicable labor laws
- Ability to multi-task and handle many concurrent activities including participating for department/company activity planning.
