Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades
We are seeking a motivated and organized Talent Acquisition / Recruiter to support hiring and onboarding efforts for a growing mechanical contracting firm. This role will focus heavily on recruiting skilled professionals while also assisting with HR administrative functions and onboarding activities.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with department managers to identify current and future hiring needs
Post and manage job advertisements across job boards, social media platforms, and recruiting channels
Review applications and process employment documentation
Conduct pre-screening interviews for open positions
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
Perform reference checks and assist throughout the hiring process
Maintain communication with candidates from initial contact through onboarding
Coordinate and support new hire onboarding activities
Assist with new hire orientation and position-specific training
Participate in recruiting outreach efforts including job fairs and networking events
Support general HR administrative functions as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
1–2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple openings simultaneously
Experience with job boards, social media recruiting, and applicant tracking systems is a plus
Construction, skilled trades, or mechanical contracting industry experience is preferred but not required
