Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), Office of Information Technology, is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Business Analyst to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to enterprise technology initiatives that enhance government services and improve outcomes for the citizens of Florida.
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical staff to identify business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions align with organizational objectives and business priorities.
The successful candidate will facilitate meetings and workshops, promote collaboration among cross-functional teams, and support business process improvement initiatives. You will also participate in system testing, implementation activities, and the development and maintenance of project documentation to ensure successful project delivery. Serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Information Technology teams, you will help bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while contributing to the successful implementation of enterprise projects that support the Departments mission.
