What We're Doing

Join Lockheed Martin's dynamic team working on the cutting edge of aerospace technology.

We provide training systems for the world's most advanced aircraft, including the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

The Work

As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:

  • Design requirements, integration and testing for all phases of the product life cycle
  • Perform engineering obsolescence trade studies
  • Perform requirements analysis using DOORS NEXT
  • Ensure successful completion of milestones leading to the full verification, validation, and delivery of product

capabilities

  • Develop systems architecture and author performance specifications and interface control document
  • Read and interpret Hardware design drawings and parts list
  • Conduct integration and test execution; trouble shooting and problem resolution

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline with 3+ years of professional experience, or two years of experience with Master's degree.
  • Systems Engineering Lifecycle experience including requirements development, systems design and architecture, integration, and test (I&T) and requirements verifications

Desired Skills

  • Development, knowledge, and test experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Systems and Test Program Sets (TPS)
  • Model Based Engineering (MBE) and DOORs database experience
  • Proposal development experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
  • Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking
  • Experience working in technical teams across a virtual, multi-site environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
