The CPS Platform Systems Systems Engienering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) team is looking for a Systems or Electronics Engineer to serve as a Delegate Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) for the Launcher Data Acquisition Systems (DAS). This role will work with the current DAS CPE in the technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability for the Launcher DAS suites. This will involve being knowledgeable of the total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and sustainment. This position ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and practices
• Familiarity with Hardware / Software Integration
• Familiarity with Data Acquisition Systems
• Demonstrated abiliy to perform as an On-Site Engineering Support Team-member
• Demonstrated ability to learn new software tools and applications
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required

Desired Skills

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Familiarity with US Navy Strategic Programs Customer and / or CPS Program
• Familiarity with risk and opportunity management policies and procedures
• Experience with opportunity management methodologies and tools
• Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
• Experience with product development and deployment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and operations
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively
• Active DOD clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
