Description
We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support an enterprise Cisco network environment. This is a backfill opportunity requiring someone who can quickly integrate with the team and take ownership of day-to-day network operations with minimal ramp-up.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Cisco wireless, switching, and routing in an enterprise environment and enjoy troubleshooting and maintaining production networks.
Job Responsibilities
Support and maintain enterprise Cisco network infrastructure
Administer Cisco switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
Monitor and maintain production network environments
Perform firmware upgrades and routine maintenance
Support VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and core networking services
Assist with network documentation and configuration management
Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to resolve issues
Participate in scheduled maintenance and after-hours support as needed
Qualifications
4+ years of enterprise network administration experience
Strong Cisco switching experience
Strong Cisco routing experience
Strong Cisco wireless experience
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting production enterprise environments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
