Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer, to play a critical role in research and/or product development, helping define problems, analyze requirements, and shape the engineering direction across one or more disciplines such as electronics, electrical, mechanical, chemical, and more. This is a hands-on position where youll contribute to system definition, requirements development, interface planning, and technical reviewshelping ensure solutions are well-structured, traceable, and ready for real-world execution.
Required Skills: Systems Engineer- Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- 08 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Define problems and conduct engineering research
- Analyze criteria and support engineering decision-making
- Support system-level engineering activities that may include requirements, interfaces, and design artifacts
Nice to Have Skills: Systems Engineer- Creation and/or review of operational concepts
- Creation of systems, software, component, and subsystem requirements
- Development of external and internal interface definitions
- Development of preliminary designs
- Creation and/or review of algorithms
- Building and maintaining a traceability matrix from higher-level requirements down to lowest-level requirements
- Participation in trade studies
- Participation in peer reviews
