deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL.Position Description:The selected Systems Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited universityExperience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related experience , or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degreeMust have a solid understanding of system engineering processes and principles, along with proven experience in applying them to develop product solutionsMust be familiar with DOORS, Cameo, and MBSEApplicants must possess good communication skillsApplicants must demonstrate ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussionsCapable of working both independently and within a team environmentMust be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environmentAbility and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needsSpecial Skills Desired:Must have experience with Software development and the verification of requirementsExperience with the MDA GMD programBattle Management or Fire Control experienceMBSE or INCOSE CertificationsExperience developing SE artifacts, including specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, and similar documentsApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
