DPP is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
Work location: Onsite in San Diego, CA
Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM (9x80 A)
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 contract
Work authorization: US Citizen; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance level
Position summary:
- The Systems Engineer 3 will support programs within the Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit (BU).
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system products to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Required qualifications:- 5 years with Bachelor’s in Science OR 3 years with Masters OR 1 year with PhD
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance level.
