Job Description
PROLIM is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer 3 to support Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems engineering, system integration testing, requirements management, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage system requirements, specifications, and system architecture.
- Perform functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation.
- Use MBSE tools such as Cameo and IBM DOORS.
- Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and program stakeholders.
- Participate in engineering reviews and technical presentations.
- Ensure system designs meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field with 5 years of experience; equivalent advanced-degree pathways may qualify.
- Experience in systems engineering processes and requirements development.
- Experience in requirements management, analysis, verification, or validation.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain SAP access.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Proficiency in Cameo and IBM DOORS, including DXL scripting.
- Experience with Agile, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience developing system requirements and verification plans.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
