    Description

     

    TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)

    Daily troubleshooting of Linux, Windows, Red Hat 6, 7, 8, and 9 Operating Systems
    •    Providing Ubuntu support
    •    Oversee cross-platform virtual machine lifecycles across Linux hypervisor environments (possibly Windows), optimizing resource allocation and compute capacity. 
    •    Maintain and manage various versions of OpenStack across multi-region deployments
    •    Troubleshoot issues across Agency GOTS OpenStack platforms
    •    Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Puppet 
    •    May include developing end-to-end Python and Bash scripts to automate daily operational tasks, reduce manual toil, and streamline system provisioning workflows
    •    Manage YUM repos (GOTS repository management)
    •    Utilize Naemon and Grafana diagnostic tooling to execute systemic performance analysis and proactively address health degraded states.

    TECHNOLOGY:

        OpenStack experience
        Linux experience to include: Red Hat 6, 7, 8, and 9
        Experience with Grafana and Naemon
        Virtual Machine – Hypervisor
        Ansible and Puppet

    Preferred Qualifications:
        MachineShop experience
        Hypervisor virtual machine experience 
        Python development language
        Understanding of Return-to-Service (RTS) protocols
        Familiarity with Pagent and Putty
        Python development language
        Bash scripting

    IAT II


    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    Shall have a minimum of Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

    ​​​​​​Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

    Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
