    About the Role

We're looking for a Systems Assembly Technician with strong hydraulics and mechanical assembly experience to build, install, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical test systems. If you know your way around hydraulic schematics, actuators, HPUs and precision mechanical assembly, and you're ready to take on hands on work with real technical ownership, this role is built for you.

    What You'll Do

    • Assemble and configure mechanical and hydro mechanical systems from engineering drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair new and customer owned mechanical test systems, including hydraulic actuators and HPUs

    • Read and interpret engineering documents, hydraulic schematics and technical prints to guide repair and assembly decisions

    • Estimate repair time and materials, and flag documentation or BOM corrections when you spot them

    • Partner with engineers and manufacturing teams to resolve performance issues and improve repair processes

    • Keep quality, safety and schedule on track through every stage of assembly and repair

    • Stay current on new products, tools and industry techniques, and mentor others as your experience grows

    What You Bring

    • A two-year certification from a college, trade school or military program in mechanics, hydraulics or electronics, or four or more years of equivalent hands-on experience

    • Two or more years of mechanical assembly experience, ideally with complex test systems, hydraulic systems or industrial equipment

    • Solid working knowledge of hydraulic schematics, hydraulic flow characteristics, tube and hose sizing, and proper sealing for structural integrity

    • Familiarity with actuators, HPUs and multi-level system integration

    • Comfort managing multiple projects at once, with the judgment to know when to act and when to escalate

    • Strong communication skills and a track record of working well with engineers, supervisors, coworkers and customers alike
