System Administrator 2


Job Summary


The System Administrator will support platform administration, business requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This hands-on role works closely with business, quality assurance, and information technology teams to deliver scalable solutions using agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business requirements and user stories and translate them into platform solutions and configurations.

  • Participate in cross-functional sessions to evaluate requirements and recommend platform solutions aligned with business goals and performance metrics.

  • Design and configure prototype solutions using best practices and low-code platform capabilities.

  • Perform quality assurance activities for low- to moderately complex solutions.

  • Facilitate troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution in accordance with service-level agreements.

  • Act as a liaison between information technology and business teams to support platform extensions and service updates.

  • Provide platform administration, end-user support, user access management, system configuration, and performance monitoring.

  • Support internal audit and compliance activities related to supported platforms.

  • Evaluate system applications and recommend improvements to optimize performance and functionality.

  • Facilitate requirements workshops, write user stories, and apply agile delivery practices.

  • Improve business processes rather than relying solely on lift-and-shift approaches.

  • Conduct testing to validate platform functionality and performance.

  • Research, document, and communicate platform best practices, releases, and new features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

  • At least five years of relevant professional experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce platform and at least two years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.

  • Experience with platform administration, solution design, configuration, product management, or technology implementation using agile software development life cycle practices.

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification.

  • Experience with source control or Salesforce DevOps tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Visual Studio, Flosum, or Copado.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in process and flow diagramming, presentations, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving.

  • Demonstrated ability to configure, test, troubleshoot, and support Salesforce systems.

  • Experience working with agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, healthcare platforms, Flosum, Git, Copado, or Salesforce DevOps tools is preferred.

  • Additional Salesforce certifications, including Platform Administrator II or Platform App Builder, are preferred.
