What You’ll Do
  • Provide inpatient management of complex pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery patients.
  • Support high-acuity patients with procedures such as CABG, valve repairs, and aortic surgeries.
  • Perform daily assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Manage arrhythmias, pacemakers, and volume management.
  • Conduct wound care, chest tube management, and surgical drain removal.
  • Monitor patient data, recognize clinical deterioration, and escalate care promptly.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and multidisciplinary staff for discharge planning and care coordination.

What You Need
  • Board-certified NP or PA with active Missouri license, ACLS, BLS.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cardiac surgery or trauma Level I setting.
  • Proficiency with inpatient procedures, data interpretation, and effective communication.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure environment.
