What You’ll Do- Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, aortic surgery, and emergent dissection repairs
- Support the surgical team with procedures such as sternotomies,Chest tube placement, and temporary pacing
- Use Epic EMR system for charting and documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts to deliver high-quality patient care
- Manage intraoperative activities including use of equipment like Maquet EVH System and Impella, ECMO cannulation, IABP exposure
- Provide perioperative support in the cardiac ICU setting when needed
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain sterile technique during procedures
What You Need- Valid Missouri license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board certification in adult cardiac surgery or related specialty (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- RNFA certification (preferred)
- At least 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
- Strong skills in surgical support, patient management, and teamwork
