What You’ll Do:

• Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, valve repairs, ascending aortic procedures, and more
• Participate in procedures such as sternotomies, chest tube placements, and mechanical circulatory support
• Collaborate with a team of cardiac surgeons and intensivists to provide optimal patient care
• Assist in the operating room during complex procedures and emergent cases
• Support pre- and post-operative patient management in a high-volume academic hospital
• Follow institutional protocols and documentation standards using Epic EMR

What You Need:

• Valid Missouri license and board certification in relevant specialty
• BLS certification (required); RNFA preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in adult cardiac surgery OR first assist
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
