    Job Title: Support Technician 1

    Location(s): Austin, TX


    Job Summary
    We are seeking 2 Level 1 Support Technicians to provide technical support and assist with a computer and docking station refresh project. The technicians will perform day-to-day activities including computer imaging, computer replacement, and data migration. Project procedures and processes will be provided, and the technicians will work as part of a team with a subject matter expert and project manager.

    Windows 11 technical support experience is helpful but not required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with manual labor and technical support associated with a computer and docking station refresh project.
    • Perform computer imaging, replacement, and data migration activities according to established procedures.
    • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
    • Document, maintain, upgrade, and replace hardware and software systems.
    • Prepare or assist with service record documentation.
    • Provide technical assistance and support for application and hardware-related issues.
    • Install, maintain, move, test, and upgrade new and existing hardware and software.
    • Maintain required security controls over software.
    • Monitor systems and provide assistance with the use and interface of systems, subsystems, and software applications.
    • Access data from and transfer data to various databases as required.
    • Work cooperatively with team members in a professional work environment.
    • Provide excellent customer service and effective technical support.
    • Handle multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school graduation or equivalent.
    • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and upgrading computer systems, hardware, peripherals, and software.
    • Knowledge of personal computers, computer components, printers, and related terminology.
    • Knowledge of computer operations, information systems, computer software and hardware, and information security policies and procedures.
    • Experience providing technical assistance and support for applications and hardware.
    • Experience using and supporting personal computers and applicable programs and systems.
    • Experience troubleshooting information systems and operating information technology systems.
    • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and WordPerfect.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional environment.
    • Ability to lift and relocate up to 30 lbs.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Windows 11 technical support experience.
