    Do you turn complex supply chains into smooth, just‑in‑time engines?

    If you love mastering SAP data, taming MRP exceptions, and leading teams to world-class performance, this role is for you. You’ll command Master Scheduling, Materials Planning, Warehouse Management, Receiving, Sequencing, Shipping, and Inventory Control for our Monroe site and its offsite locations—and you’ll manage planning and purchasing of nonproduction materials and services. The goal: a synchronized flow of materials and information that delivers for our customers every time.

    Scope & responsibilities

    • Partner with Customer Service on delivery commitments and information quality; fulfill plant supply chain requirements.
    • Stand up and refine the launch system for new products (SAP master data, initial inventory build, purchase orders, forecasts) using best-practice materials settings and reporting.
    • Achieve and sustain 95%+ inventory accuracy through a disciplined cycle-count program and semi-annual physical inventory reconciliation.
    • Improve inventory days; set optimal safety stocks to absorb demand increases/decreases without operational disruption.
    • Track and report KPIs across inventory mgmt., planning, freight, packaging, and Nonproduction materials (Including recyclables).
    • Guarantee JIT supply to production for packaging, raw material, WIP, and components; resolve critical stock shortages decisively.
    • Eliminate expediting: drive and maintain $0 expedited inbound and outbound freight.
    • Lead, coach, and, when applicable, hire and performance-manage team members; hold the organization accountable for results.
    • Continuously optimize supply chain processes and cost; develop the annual Budget/Plan for Materials, Freight, Packaging, and Nonproduction purchasing and manage to that plan.
    • Ensure efficient, effective incoming, warehousing, and distribution logistics.
    • Maintain efficient, stable production planning and controlling.
    • Support supply-chain-related IT administration within the plant.
    • Define, implement, and improve supply chain standards; perform any other planning, organizing, leading, and controlling needed to run the function.

    Education & experience

    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
    • 8–10 years in manufacturing materials management with emphasis on procurement, production planning, and inventory control.
    • APICS certifications preferred.
    • Strong understanding of ERP systems and operations.
