    Supply Chain Contracts Specialist

    Job Description:

    Contract Specialist I provides support to the Strategic Sourcing team in managing and maintaining supply chain contracts and documentation. This role assists in data collection, price accuracy verification, and basic contract file management. Works under direct supervision to support contract execution and compliance activities.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Maintain contract files and documentation.
    • Track expirations and renewals.
    • Collect basic product/service info.
    • Verify contract pricing/supplier info.
    • Develop supplier relationships.
    • Negotiate contracts and product pricing.
    • Run basic compliance reports.
    • Follow up on documentation/signatures.
    • Support Value Analysis prep with data.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of tasks.
    • Able to prioritize and organize work product.

    General Responsibilities

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree required.

    Experience Requirements

    • No prior work experience required.

    License/Certification/Registration Requirements

    • None required.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements

    • Basic contract lifecycle/procurement knowledge
    • Detail-oriented; accurate data entry
    • Clear written/verbal communication
    • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, MMIS
    • Willingness to learn GPO/ERP systems
    • Ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately
    • Analytical and project experience
