ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Supervises Mechanics in the diagnosis and repair of City vehicles and equipment.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License required. Class A CDL preferred.
EQUIPMENT
Personal computer including word processing software, calculator, copy and fax machines, telephone, cellular telephone, pager, mobile or portable radio, and automobile.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Tasks may involve extended periods at a keyboard or work station.

The employee will spend the majority of their time in a facility consistent with automotive and truck repairs. The employee may be required to work in adverse weather conditions, sometimes outside, and may have to work long hours when needed. The employee may be exposed to oil, greases, solvents and other chemicals that may be hazardous.
SCHEDULE:
Second Shift 4:00pm - 12:00am. Flexible work schedule option of four (4) ten (10) hour work days per week (April - October)
