\nPosition Summary
\nThe Supervising Social Worker plays a vital role in supporting justice-impacted parents as they navigate the complex and often challenging process of reunifying with their children. The Supervising Social Worker will provide direct services—including counseling, court accompaniment, and coordination with legal and child welfare systems—to help stabilize families and facilitate successful reunification.
\nIn addition to direct client support, the Supervising Social Worker will supervise the Case Manager/Visitation Manager, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across the department. This role demands a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, a deep understanding of systems-involved families, and a firm commitment to social and racial justice. Reporting to the Managing Attorney, the Supervising Social Worker collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to empowering families impacted by incarceration.
