Job Description

Oversee daily field operations from project kickoff through final completion. Manage project schedules and coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain milestones. Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance across all jobsite operations. Maintain quality control throughout construction and promptly address field issues. Serve as the primary on-site representative for clients, architects, and project stakeholders. Coordinate inspections, site logistics, and project documentation. Lead and direct subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and accountability. Collaborate with Project Managers to proactively resolve schedule, budget, and constructability challenges. Monitor project progress and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders. Support project closeout activities and ensure a smooth turnover to the client.

The Successful Applicant

Experience serving as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules. Knowledge of jobsite safety standards and quality control practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Preferred Experience: Experience with office interiors, corporate upfits, healthcare, hospitality, or life science projects. Familiarity with the Raleigh-Durham/Triangle construction market. Experience working for a commercial general contractor on renovation or occupied-space projects.
