Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee all construction activities at assigned project sites.
Direct and supervise day-to-day field operations and labor personnel.
Execute and maintain project schedules to ensure milestone achievement.
Monitor project budgets and productivity to maintain financial objectives.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Ensure all work is completed according to plans, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Identify and resolve construction-related challenges and field issues.
Enforce site safety policies and maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
Lead subcontractor coordination and scheduling efforts.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Attend project meetings and provide jobsite progress updates.
Prepare and submit regular safety and project status reports.
Inspect work in progress and ensure quality control standards are met.
Qualifications Needed
High School Diploma or GED required; Construction Management or related education preferred.
Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience with progressive field leadership responsibilities.
Minimum 10 years of experience serving as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent on commercial projects.
Experience managing retail, hospitality, automotive dealership, and other commercial construction projects.
Strong background in site supervision, subcontractor management, scheduling, and project execution.
Proven ability to manage multiple trades while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices and OSHA compliance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel as required.
