Superintendent / PM - Life Sciences - Fitchburg, MA

We're seeking a Superintendent or hybrid Superintendent/Project Manager to oversee multiple life science and laboratory construction projects across the Greater Boston area. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-profile MEP-focused renovations and construction projects while working closely with operations leadership.

Description

The Superintendent / Project Manager - Life Sciences will:

• Manage 2-5 active projects simultaneously throughout Greater Boston.
• Oversee scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and material management.
• Conduct site visits and collaborate with field superintendents.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
• Lead communication between project stakeholders and operations leadership.
• Support construction efforts focused on process piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Utilize Procore and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
• Partner with operations leadership to drive successful project execution.

Profile

A successful Superintendent / Project Manager - Life Sciences should have:

• 5+ years of construction experience.
• Superintendent or Project Management experience within commercial construction.
• Experience supporting laboratory, life science, biotech, pharmaceutical, or similar technical projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, especially mechanical, piping, and plumbing scopes.
• Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the Greater Boston area.
• Commutable to North Central Massachusetts.
